That opening puts you in Meridian Market, the central commercial district. Everything else about the first hour (exact objectives, tutorial structure, how quickly the systems open up) is unconfirmed until launch.
Habits that will almost certainly matter
- Learn the ingredient chain early. Buying, growing, and fishing are the three confirmed sources. Your menu is only as good as your supply.
- Respect the day-night cycle and curfew. Official material ties the night curfew to security systems and sabotage; the city is a different place after hours.
- Pay attention to relationships. The game markets itself on characters; relationships are a confirmed system with consequences for your business life.
- Don't overextend your first business. Sabotage exists, and the official copy warns it cuts both ways. Grow from the noodle stand before branching out.
Expectations to set before launch
