Fishing
Nivalis Nights Fishing Guide: Boat, Waters & Ingredients
Fishing in a cyberpunk city is exactly what it sounds like, and it feeds directly into your restaurant supply chain.
From official feature lists, Aug 23, 2026
Fishing is a real system, not a set piece
The 505 Games feature list and the Steam description both treat fishing as a core way to get ingredients. You take a personal boat into the city's waterways, and what you catch feeds your businesses.
How it fits the loop
Think of fishing as the slow, relaxing supply option. Markets cost money, greenhouses cost setup and maintenance, and fishing costs time on the water. Which one is most efficient is a launch question; the game may well balance them so that all three matter.
What we don't know yet
- What species exist and what they're used for.
- Whether fishing has its own minigame or upgrades.
- Whether the ocean hides anything beyond fish; Cloudpunk fans will have theories.
The water is clearly more than decoration, though. The travel Q&A shows boats as one of the four confirmed ways around the city.
