Only characters with real official material get their own page. Two are live today, and the list grows as ION LANDS reveals more.

The cast is the biggest production number
ION LANDS has said Nivalis Nights features roughly 135 fully voiced characters. For context, that is a voice-acting budget most indie studios never touch; it is the reason the game took this long.

Relationship management is a confirmed system: the Steam description says your influence grows with every decision, and the store page carries the Romance tag. Character work is where this game spent its budget. ION LANDS has described the cast asroughly 135 fully voiced characters, and the marketing treats that number as a headline feature — which is unusual for a life sim of this size and explains why the game took years longer than its original 2024 window.
The Steam store page adds the language detail: English is the only language with full audio. The other ten supported languages get translated interface and subtitles over the English voice track, so the voice cast is one performance, not eleven.
How to use the cast in play
- Talk to everyone early. Characters are tied to districts and businesses, so learning who runs what is how you find suppliers and opportunities.
- Named characters are few on purpose. Only a handful are publicly named before launch: Ava, Thaddeus Carmunis and Salt Pete. The rest are for launch.
- Spelling matters. The retiring noodle-bar owner is Thaddeus Carmunisin 505 Games’ own post — some third-party wikis write “Carminus”, which is wrong.
