Where the September 29 date comes from
The date was confirmed on June 29, 2026, in the release date trailer for the newly renamed Nivalis Nights. The project had been known simply as Nivalis since its 2021 announcement, and the rename landed at the same time as the date.
Steam lists the launch for September 29, 2026. The Epic Games Store version is confirmed but undated. That is the whole official picture; anything more specific you read elsewhere is guessing.
How we got here: a short delay history
- 2021: announced as Nivalis, set in the Cloudpunk universe.
- 2024 target: slipped, along with a 2025 target, as the studio kept working on the city and its cast.
- June 2026: renamed Nivalis Nights and dated for September 29, 2026.
