You live in a cyberpunk city on the sea. Each day you choose what to spend it on: run and grow a business, source ingredients, decorate a home, build relationships, fish, or explore the four districts. Night brings weather, a curfew, and riskier options like sabotage.

A defined story, not an endless sandbox
The game has a defined ending shaped by your relationships, side quests and business decisions — it is not an endless sandbox. More than 130 characters with interconnected stories populate the city, and the relationships you build (friendship, romance, rivalry, business partnership) can change dialogue, side-quest outcomes, and even open practical benefits like better vendor prices.
Getting around
There is no car driving. You move between districts on foot via walkways/arcades, take the metro for fast transit, or pilot your own boat on the waterways. See the transportation page for the full breakdown.

Is Nivalis Nights multiplayer or co-op?
No. It is a single-player experience; no co-op or online mode has been announced.
What can you do in Nivalis Nights?
Per the official Q&A: run and grow a business, manage menus and ingredients, meet and manage relationships with characters, decorate homes, fish, play minigames, and explore the city.
Does Nivalis Nights have a day-night cycle?
Yes. Official materials describe a daily rhythm, weather, and a night curfew.
Is Nivalis Nights an open world?
The city is explorable across four districts, but ION LANDS has said some areas are background scenery rather than fully open spaces.
Is there combat?
Not in the usual sense. The confirmed loop is business and life management; the closest thing to a threat is rival sabotage and security systems during curfew.
Is Nivalis Nights a farming sim?
Partly. You can grow your own ingredients in greenhouses, but the core loop is city life and business, not a farm.
