Four districts, one vertical city

Nivalis is a city on the sea that builds upward, and official materials consistently say it is split across four districts. The studio has published dedicated looks at most of them through Steam news posts.

The districts so far

  • Meridian Market: the central commercial district, and the reported starting area where you inherit the noodle stand.
  • Seaside Boardwalk: the waterfront strip: ocean breeze, restaurants, crowded streets, and hidden alleys.
  • Skyhigh Gardens: an Eastern-inspired district above the cloud line, with hanging gardens, wooden bridges, and Japanese restaurants.
  • Calypso Island: a warmer, upscale district close to the sky, where the port character Salt Pete operates.

One honest caveat about the map

ION LANDS has said the city is not a fully open world in the GTA sense: some areas are background scenery rather than explorable spaces. So "four districts" describes the playable layout, not every rooftop in the skyline.
